Welcome September! This month begins my first MELT 4-Week Series. In these sessions you will dive deeper into the Method of MELT. Each class builds off the last allowing you to really learn self care with proper technique. Each week I will teach you a new treatment. The INTRO workshops are intended as a broad overview of MELT and if you want to learn more, my 4 week sessions are designed for just that! 7/13/15 NEW: INTRO TO MELT WORKSHOPS!

Hello beautiful yogis! I hope you are enjoying summertime! I have some wonderful news! Many of you know I took a teacher training back in May. It was the most intense teacher training I have ever taken. (The MELTMethod)  I came to find MELT and Sue, the creator,  several years ago. I began buying her tools and when her book became available in 2013 I began MELTing. I felt so many positive changes in my own body and realized that EVERYONE NEEDS THIS!!! So, in May I spent 3 glorious days in NYC learning this Method from the creator, Sue, who is so knowledgeable and passionate about what she does I was blown away! She has helped thousands of people get out and stay out of chronic pain and heal themselves.  I am a nurse and passionate about anatomy, so I have been studying and learning from yoga teachers who share my passion for anatomy as it relates to the yoga practice~ THIS is a whole NEW level of learning based on NEW SCIENCE of the human body..Since I returned from my training I have been using these techniques daily and all I can say is we all need this!!! The changes and release  in long held tensions in my body have been amazing.  Back on July 2nd I quietly honored the 5 year anniversary of my mom’s passing. She died of complications from every PREVENTABLE, CHRONIC AND DEBILITATING disease out there. She was prescribed a pill for every problem and in the end she had more problems than pills and her body was toxic! I share this because although sad and I think of her every single day, she was too young and her passing FUELED MY PASSION to reach MORE people…to help people lead a more healthy active life.   It is why I became a nurse, and then a yoga teacher..to help…to serve… Do you have chronic pain? Or perhaps pre-pain symptoms like stiffness in the muscles and joints? Do you have a job with repetitive movements? Whether sedentary or active we ALL experience this dehydration in our connective tissue and left unaddressed can lead to chronic problems.. The MELT Method is hands OFF bodywork, a self treatment you can learn and do in as little as 10 minutes a day or 3 times a week and you can see and feel a difference the very first time you try it! 5/13/15: subs and new training!

Subs this week for me are Friday at Fitness Plaza (Janis) and Saturday at Livingroom Yoga Studio (Staci) I will be in NYC learning a whole new modality called the Melt Method! I will become a certified Hand and Foot Melt Instructor!
